New software v4.2 available for the complete VideoBRIDGE range
VBC - now with freetext Sort & Filter functionality

Type in any text in the filter dialogue box. VBC will instantaneously show only those streams matching your search. Examples of search names are channel names, interfaces and even multicast addresses. Right-hand view above shows all channels with "DISCO" in stream name. Sort on Name, Interface type, Severity Worst and Severity Best. Left example shows streams sorted on Severity Worst with Kanal_10 ruling on top.

VB120 and VB220 - Now up to 4 ETR engines in parallel on IP
The ETR engine is responsible for carrying out the deep-dive monitoring and analysis according to the industry standard TS 101 290 specification. Each VB220 of course monitors up to 180 streams in parallel for packet loss and jitter and a whole range of other parameters. But for deep-dive analysis 101290-style you used to have one engine that jumped from multicast to multicast in a round-robin fashion. Now you can have up to 4 working in parallel! This makes for very cost effective and high density continuous analysis of IP-based transport streams as found in all modern cable and satellite head-ends today. Requires license.

New VB120 and VB220 summary page

A collection of relevant summary information spanning across all the interfaces available in the probe is now shown on the opening page of the probe GUI.

VB120 and VB220 Timeline alarm graphs
Gain invaluable information as to when alarms occur by plotting them on a timeline graph. The alarm graph shows all TS 101 290 priority 1, 2 and 3 alarms plus additional CA and RF interface details in a tree structure spanning back in time 24 hours (Requires the ETR290 option).

Monitor QAM, COFDM or Satellite and stream out on IP

The Return Data Path (RDP) framework now contains IP streaming functionality. Select a particular service received on QAM for example and use RDP to convert it live to IP. Ideal for relaying faulty channels to a central location for visual inspection using VLC or a professional receiver/decoder with IP input. Also works on scrambled signals.

Large Thumbnails

Multi Program Transport Streams and SPTS´s can now be decoded into large thumbnails provided they are unscrambled together with belonging metadata.

VB280 Increase in performance
The code have been optimized in the VB280. MPEG-2 SD and HD are now refreshed twice as fast as before. Same goes for MPEG-4 SD. There is also improvements on MPEG-4 HD.
