(Oslo, Norway - November 30, 2010)

Bridge Technologies has announced a partnership with Sydney-based broadcast supplier and integrator Magna Systems & Engineering, for sales and support of the VideoBRIDGE line of digital media monitoring products in Australia. Magna Systems is one of the leading integrators in Australia and the Pacific Rim, and a major distributor for blue-chip broadcast manufacturers.

“Bridge Technologies has significant experience in the development of advanced tools for confidence monitoring, reporting, and analysis of digital media systems,” said Richard Green, head of broadcast for Magna Systems. “Their powerful visualization of media streams gives operators complete platform status at a glance, which will prove ideal for the rapid consolidation of the digital media market we are seeing in Australia.
The combination of their solutions and our experience will enable us to offer our customers unique technology to manage large numbers of services.”

The award-winning VideoBRIDGE series of probes offers an innovative approach to the monitoring and analysis of converging services employing stream-based IP packets. Compatible with all major stream-based industrial standards such as MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, DVB/ATSC, and ETSI TR 101 290, the VideoBRIDGE series offers a complete end-to-end system for the continuous quality assurance of a network. With full support of the innovative MediaWindow™ (patented), the VideoBRIDGE series is at the forefront of digital TV measurement and monitoring technologies.

“We are more than pleased to have Magna Systems as a partner in Australia,” said Philip Burnham, sales director, Bridge Technologies. “Their forty-plus years in the Australian broadcast scene, together with a substantial presence throughout the region, means they are very strongly placed to deliver the benefits of VideoBRIDGE to a wide base of customers.”
