International Expansion Eastward Signals Growing Momentum of Bridge Technologies’ IPTV Monitoring Technology

Bridge Technologies, developer of the first complete satellite-to-set-top-box monitoring solution for IPTV operators, has seen record demand for the VideoBRIDGE system, fuelling rapid expansion with the addition of four new international partners in the past four months.

HFC Technics in Hungary, Verso in Croatia, Tema in Bulgaria, DEPS in Ukraine and SunTeq in the Slovak Republic have been added to Bridge Technologies’ roster of international distribution partners.

“We have experienced a very significant increase in the number of orders received over the past few months, which confirms that the ‘IPvisation’ of the broadcast industry is a phenomenon that is only accelerating,” said Bridge Technologies’ Sales Director Philip Burnham. “When the economic climate suddenly cooled at the end of last year, a lot of ongoing projects were simply frozen. Things are heating up again.”

Philip Burnham also added that “because the company is the developer of the only comprehensive end-to-end IPTV monitoring solution, Bridge Technologies is in a great position to benefit from the ‘IPvisation’ boom.”

International users of Bridge Technologies’ VideoBRIDGE monitoring systems include: Virgin Media in the UK; Kabel Deutschland, one of Europe’s largest cable operators; TDF-Cognaq-Jay, one of the leading head-end and aggregation operators in France; Telenor, the largest uplink provider in Northern Europe; and Telmex, the largest telco and IPTV operator in South America.

The award-winning VideoBRIDGE series of probes are innovative industrial platforms for the converging services employing stream-based IP packets. Compatible with all major stream-based industrial standards such as MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, and DVB/ATSC - ETSI TR 101 290, the VideoBRIDGE series offers a complete end-to-end system for the continuous quality assurance of a network. With full support of the RFC4445 standards proposal and the innovative MEDIAWINDOW™ (patented), the VideoBRIDGE series is at the forefront of IPTV measurement and monitoring technologies.
