NEWS/BRIDGE Technologies ships v1.5.1 advanced IP-PROBE software

BRIDGE Technologies is today shipping the new software release to the award winning VideoBRIDGE IP-PROBES with even more features than previewed at IBC2005 in Amsterdam. Since the introduction of the MDI Media Window (patent pending) customer response has been fantastic. The shipping v1.5.1 version of software for the VB10 portable IP-Probe and the VB110 Blade for the VB100 chassis is released with a multitude of new features. New feature highlights are as follows:

 
» MDI Media Window (pat.pend.) for all channels monitored
» Access Control in each IP-Probe
» PSI/SI table-analysis and partial TR290 level 1 implementation
» DHCP functionality with address reporting to VBC server
» RFC868 Time server synchronization
» MPEG2 Decoding with dedicated PAL/NTSC and audio outputs
» Individual MDI channel thresholds
» Advanced XML export of statistics
 
Together with the upcoming release of the VBC Server v2.0 software, the VideoBRIDGE series gives IPTV deployments the verifiability and continuous 24/7 monitoring capability needed for industrial-size networks. Together with the standard functionality-set from the previous software released after NAB2005, the VideoBRIDGE IP-Probes provide the optimum toolset needed for both management reporting and engineering fault-finding.
 
By using dedicated embedded hardware, the stringent requirements of both the Telecommunication and Broadcast industries are met. With the availability of both AC and DC 48v power supplies, the VideoBRIDGE series is perfect for POP deployment in the network and at DSLAM or fibre aggregation sites at the network edges.
