BRIDGE Technologies joins the Pro-MPEG Forum, a key standardisations forum for digital interoperability and for standardisation efforts in the digital media industry.
The Professional-MPEG Forum is an association of Broadcasters, program-makers, equipment manufacturers and component suppliers. Established in 1999, the Forum’s goals are non-commercial, as it aims to promote interoperability between professional television equipment, according to the implementation requirements of Broadcasters and other end-users. Today the Forum has over 130 members world-wide.
Independence and openness are the hallmarks of the Forum in order to ensure all organizations and individuals can participate and contribute. The SMPTE and the EBU are two key partner organizations and the output of the Forum's work on operating ranges and file formats has been submitted to EBU and SMPTE for standardization
BRIDGE Technologies is proud to be a member, and will contribute to standardisation efforts, especially in the field of packet measurement and analysis of compressed media data.
