NEWS/Successful launch of the VideoBRIDGE IP PROBE monitoring series at IBC
(OSLO, Norway - September 14th, 2004)
At the 2004 International Broadcast Convention in Amsterdam, BRIDGE Technologies launched its innovative series of monitoring products specifically tailored for the emerging DVBoIP markets of: Professional Contribution Links and Broadcast-to-the-home over DSL and fibre networks.
"The response has been truly excellent. Operators today are really starting to see the benefits of a proactive aproach towards securing the service quality in their DVBoIP installations. This in itself is evidence of a market coming of age and ready for prime time" says Rolf Ollmar, CEO and co-founder of BRIDGE Technologies.
The BRIDGE Technologies monitoring solution consists of the portable VB10 IP PROBE, the rack mountable VB100 IP PROBE and the BTC server software offering centralised control and alarm gathering.
When asked about how it is possible to launch products in such a short time after founding the company Nils Jorgen Zapffe, co-founder and senior software developer states "It is all about modularity and knowing what the market really needs. Our approach leads to faster product cycles and a better end product for the customer".
The BRIDGE Technologies staff have returned to Oslo, Norway in high spirit and are now developing extensions to the products based on direct customer feedback gained during the show.
Product is ready for pre-order, and ships in November, 2004.
